KCI Expo Center – Northland CAPS announced on Monday, April 29th our second annual Scholarship/Grant to graduating seniors who have been a part of Northland CAPS for the 2018-2019 School Year.   The scholarship/grant is a one-time, non-renewable scholarship/grant for $1,000.  Northland CAPS had two business partners, Ford Motor Company and Cerner Corporation, donate 10,000 each to allow for this opportunity.

This year Northland CAPS had over 85 applications making it very difficult to select only 22 seniors for this opportunity.

The Northland CAPS Scholarship/Grant money may be used to help pay for tuition, books, room and board, etc. at any college or university.  It is also permissible to use the money for supplies or tools within an apprentice program.  Or money may also be used for patent application fees or other business startup needs.

Northland CAPS – Northland Center for Advanced Professional Studies – is an educational, career exploration program that focuses on Professionalism, has a project-based curriculum, along with internships that allow students from seven different school districts in the Northland to experience careers in Digital Media and Design, Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing, Global Business and Entrepreneurship, Global Logistics, Medicine and Healthcare, and Technology Solutions.
