Harding Nominated for Award

February 25, 2025 – Excelsior Springs, MO – Excelsior Springs High School math teacher Jennifer Harding has been nominated for the 2024-25 LifeChanger of the Year award, a prestigious national recognition honoring educators who make a significant impact on their students and school communities.

Sponsored by the National Life Group Foundation, LifeChanger of the Year recognizes and rewards outstanding K-12 educators across the country who exemplify excellence, leadership, and positive influence. Harding was nominated anonymously for her dedication, optimism, and unwavering commitment to her students and colleagues.

“Mrs. Harding has a unique ability to make even the most reluctant learners excited about math,” said the nominator. “Her care and encouragement inspire students to reach their full potential.”

Teaching Pre-Algebra and Advanced Algebra 2, Harding creates an engaging and supportive classroom where students feel valued and empowered to succeed. She also works closely with her fellow educators to improve student outcomes by sharing best practices.

Beyond the classroom, Harding is a pillar of the school community, organizing weekly staff shout-outs and participating in school events that foster a culture of appreciation and connection.

This year, seventeen educators nationwide will be honored with LifeChanger of the Year awards, with the Grand Prize Winner receiving $10,000 to be shared with their school or district. Winners will be announced in early 2025.

Join us in celebrating Mrs. Harding’s well-deserved recognition and thanking her for the incredible difference she makes in our students’ lives every day!
