Mrs. Ashley Dice named Cornerstone Assistant Principal
Excelsior Springs School District Announces New Assistant Principal at Cornerstone Elementary
The Excelsior Springs School District is pleased to announce Mrs. Ashley Dice as the next Assistant Principal of Cornerstone Elementary for the upcoming school year.
Mrs. Dice brings 13 years of experience in education and a deep commitment to student success, leadership, and building strong school communities. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Missouri Western State University, along with a Master’s in Educational Leadership (K–12) and an Education Specialist degree in Superintendency from Northwest Missouri State University.
She began her career in 2013 and has spent the past 11 years in the Platte County R-3 School District. During that time, she taught both first and fifth grade, led the Teaching Professions Career and Technical Education program, and served in multiple leadership roles, including Summer School principal. Her diverse experiences have helped shape her collaborative leadership style and strong instructional focus.
When asked about joining Cornerstone Elementary, Mrs. Dice shared:
“I am truly honored and excited to serve as the Assistant Principal of Cornerstone Elementary. Teaching has always been more than a career for me—it’s a calling. I am excited to join a community that values its students, families, and traditions. I believe strong relationships are at the heart of great schools, and I look forward to working alongside the Cornerstone team to create an environment where every student feels supported, challenged, and prepared for success in school and in life.”
