Ms. Anneliese Gould Named Middle School Principal
The Excelsior Springs School District is excited to announce the hiring of Ms. Anneliese Gould as the next Middle School Principal of Excelsior Springs Middle School. Ms. Gould has been a valued member of the district since 2017 and brings a wealth of experience through her service in multiple administrative roles across the district.
Throughout her time with the district, Ms. Gould has demonstrated a strong commitment to students, staff, and families, as well as a collaborative leadership style focused on continuous growth and improvement. Her experience in a variety of administrative positions has provided her with a deep understanding of district operations and the needs of learners at all levels.
The district looks forward to seeing Ms. Gould’s vision help shape the continued growth and success of the middle school. Her experience across multiple administrative roles within the district, combined with her commitment to collaboration and student-centered leadership, positions her well to build on the strong foundation already in place and guide the school into its next chapter.
“I am honored and excited to continue serving as Principal of Excelsior Springs Middle School,” shared Ms. Gould. “After nine years in the district and six years at ESMS, I look forward to continuing our work together in support of our students, staff, and families.”
Ms. Gould had been serving as interim principal at Excelsior Springs Middle School since the retirement of Dr. Brett Coffman in the fall of 2025. The district is excited to see Ms. Gould continue her role as principal at ESMS through the spring semester and into the 2026-2027 school year.
